TriAgenics® has engineered Zero3® TBA to control all aspects of the third molar tooth bud ablation process. This technology is designed to accurately shape and size each micro-ablation, as well as control the thermal dose for each treatment site.
TriAgenics’ custom patient guide is designed to accurately position the micro-ablation probe’s center of ablation in the center of the tooth bud. Ablation margins can be prescribed with 0.2mm planning resolution. This level of precision is used to minimize collateral tissue damage outside the confines of the bony crypt of targeted tooth buds.
Zero3® technology has built-in controls to ensure the ablation procedure results in warming of targeted tooth buds (circled) from the center outwards. This patented feature is designed to dramatically reduce the risk of adversely effecting adjacent tissue while clinically inducing 3rd molar agenesis.
